This page explains how to request deletion of your ZamaCar account and associated personal data when you use our website or mobile app. It is provided to meet transparency expectations and app store requirements (including Google Play) for account removal and user data.

1. What deletion covers

  • When we process a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your account profile and personal data associated with your user ID, and remove your active listings from the Service, in line with our technical capabilities and legal obligations.
  • Some information may be retained for a limited period where the law requires (for example, fraud prevention or tax records), or may persist in encrypted backups until those backups expire. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may also be retained.

2. How to request deletion

  • Use the secure request form below. You must provide the email address registered on your ZamaCar account so we can verify ownership.
  • Submitting the form prepares an email to mr.eaas@gmail.com. Sending that email completes your request and gives our team the details needed to process it.
  • Alternatively, you may email us directly at the same address from your registered email with the subject line "Account deletion request" and include your full name and any information that helps us verify your account.

3. Processing time

We aim to confirm receipt and process eligible requests within a reasonable period, typically within thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is required by law or exceptional circumstances. We will notify you at your registered email address once your account deletion has been completed or if we need additional information.

  • Submitting this form opens your email app with a pre-filled message to mr.eaas@gmail.com. Sending that email helps us verify your request.
  • If your email app does not open, email us manually at the address above with the same details from this form.

Deleting your account does not automatically delete copies of messages or content that other users may have saved outside the Service. Third-party services (for example Google Sign-In) remain subject to their own policies; you may manage data in your Google account separately.
